March 13 to April 6, Museum will be Open 7 Days a Week for Spring Break !
*We are installing additional heaters the week of March 3rd (The museum will only be open on weekends until Spring Break Season which is Mid March)
*There will be no restrooms available until March 7th when Open Hrs/Days are increased for Spring Break Season.
Dogs are welcome in the museum! (they must remain on a leash)

Our Museum has real Fossils from the Black Hills Region, life-size dinosaur recreations, replicas, and fun activities for families.

If you're headed towards Mt. Rushmore on Highway 16, you can't miss the 40 ft tall T-Rex between Reptile Gardens and Rushmore Candy Company.

While most museums only display fossils and skeleton replicas, we ALSO have the most realistic models of full-size dinosaurs to get an idea of what they looked liked millions of years ago!
