Dinosaur Museum is located right in the Spring Creek Valley, between Rapid City & Rockerville, as you enter the Black Hills mountains via Hwy 16 (Mt. Rushmore Rd).

  • From Rapid City: Just stay on Mt. Rushmore Rd going north, following the signs to Mount Rushmore & Crazy Horse. You will see the big T-Rex, but before you pass him... be sure to turn at the Reptile Gardens entrance. 
 
  • From Keystone or Hill City: Take Hwy U.S.-16 back towards Rapid City. As you go down the mountain, you will see T-Rex on the left (only half a mile past Bear Country).
 
  • From SD-79: Turn west onto Spring Creek Rd (County Rd 236) and drive four miles. Turn right onto S Rockerville Rd. You will immediately come to a stop sign. Just cross Hwy US-16 and our entrance is right there!
